These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Opening/Closing Date & Time

Maximum of one (1) entry per week, per person, per email address only. Maximum of one prize per person for the entirety of the Promotion. Anyone found attempting to bypass this rule by, for example, using multiple email addresses to enter will be disqualified. If you win one (1) prize, please do not continue to enter the promotion, as you will not be eligible to win any further prizes.

Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be chosen by an expert panel of judges from The Rugby Pod who will select the best story submission that celebrates the rugby spirit on the following (“Draw Date”):

All winners will receive a winning confirmation email (the “Winning Confirmation Email”), sent to the email address provided at the time of entry. It is the responsibility of entrants to check junk/spam folders to ensure they are in receipt of any communications. The Winning Confirmation Email will be sent on the following date:

Each winner will be required to respond to the Winning Confirmation Email sent to the email address provided within 3 days to confirm eligibility, their age and acceptance of the prize. For any winners receiving a physical prize, they will also be asked to confirm their address details. Winners will be asked to confirm their age by sharing an image of their ID, this can include driving license or passport.

Winner Verification & Prize Delivery

Confirmation and proof of winner age, identity and address will be required within 3 days of request before any prizes are awarded. Winners have 3 days from receiving the Winner Confirmation Email to confirm eligibility, age, address details and confirm acceptance of their Prize by responding to the Winning Confirmation Email sent to the email address provided. In the event that a winner does not respond to the initial contact within 3 days, is disqualified or is ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select another winner using the same methodology as above. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to claim the trip to France. The process will repeat twice for all other prizes after which any remaining unclaimed prizes will be null and void.

Rugby World Cup 2023 Experience at Wales v Australia in Lyon Grand Prize for two people (winner and one guest) winners: The Rugby Pod and Fuse will liaise with the winner directly. They will receive a prize letter detailing what they have won.

Merchandise winners: The prize will be sent to the winners by first-class post within 28 days of valid claim and the completion of the verification process.

General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions apply in addition to the Specific terms and conditions above. Together, they shall be referred to as the “terms and conditions”.

Participants must meet any eligibility requirements contained in the specific terms and conditions above.

If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to Covid-19 and any associated government restrictions, or industry-wide supply chain issues, any affected entrants will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotion or prizes.

If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when submitting online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete submissions and any incomplete submissions will not be considered valid for entry into the promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any submission which are not completed for any reason.

Entries made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Bulk entries made in any way, including using any software which allows participants to increase that participants entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that participant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.

To comply with this obligation The Rugby Pod will send the surname and county of residence of Grand Prize and merchandise prizes, to anyone who contacts them within three months after the closing date by emailing admin@therugbypod.com The Promoter reserves the right to refuse such requests. If you object to any or all of your surname or county of residence being published or made available, please contact the Promoter via admin@therugbypod.com In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, traffic congestion, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it considers it necessary to do so, without prior notice. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.

If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed for the administration of the promotion and as set out in the Promoter's privacy-policy. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. Data will be stored for 3 months after the close of the promotion before deletion with the exception of Grand Prize to France prize winner whose data will be deleted on completion of their trip. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to admin@therugbypod.com. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here. See also condition 5 with regard to the announcement of winners.

The terms and conditions of this Promotion, and any disputes arising therefrom, shall be governed by English law and entrants to the Promotion must submit to the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts unless your residential address is in Scotland or Northern Ireland where local law applies.
WORLD RUGBY TICKET CONDITIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.Acceptance of the rules is a condition of entry and entry instructions form part of the rules. Entry indicates acceptance of these rules.
2.Each winner and his/her guest(s) as applicable agree to comply with the terms and conditions applicable to the issue and use of tickets from time to time (as available and set out at https://brand.rugbyworldcup.com/Brand/Ticketing/RWCL_StakeholderTicketingTCS.pdf or such other webpage as determined by Rugby World Cup Limited (“RWCL”) from time to time), the tournament organiser (Federation Francaise de Rugby 2023, “FFR2023”) and all applicable venue owner or operator rules and regulations to access Rugby World Cup venues and any other areas associated with Rugby World Cup (including any terms of accreditation determined by RWCL). Further each winner and his/her guest(s) acknowledge that he/she may be required to enter into a direct acknowledgement and/or agreement with RWCL and/or FFR2023 concerning use of the tickets and compliance with ticket terms and conditions prior to receiving the prize
3.Winners and/or guests shall not, while using Rugby World Cup tickets, display or publicise any political slogans or homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to ambush marketing or an abuse of the Rugby World Cup, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights (including intellectual property rights) or reflects negatively upon any of RWCL or the Rugby World Cup. Each entrant agrees and acknowledges that any breach of this clause 16 will cause significant damage and loss to RWCL.
4.The Promoter may pass personal information relating to prize winners to RWCL and/or FFR2023 (and any of their service providers or agents) for the purposes of monitoring the distribution and use of Rugby World Cup tickets and related experiences and, in the event of a suspect breach of any terms and conditions, rules or regulations or RWCL and/or FFR2023 relating to the use of such tickets and/or experiences, investigating and taking action against such winners.
5.This promotion is run by the Promoter with the permission of RWCL. Accordingly the Promoter is responsible for the operation of and all matters and concerns relating to the promotion, not RWCL or any other persons involved in staging of Rugby World Cup 2023 (including FFR2023) and World Rugby (formerly the International Rugby Board), all of whom shall not be responsible for or liable to entrants in any way whatsoever in connection with this promotion.
